Just end the season at this point and let me enjoy my summer

WHAT A FUCKING SHIT SHOW. Arsenal did the thing again where they turn t0 fucking shit. I can’t tell you the last time Brighton won a soccer match. I can definitely tell you that Arsenal needed a response after the debacle against Palace. Losing 2-0 to Brighton at home this afternoon puts our hopes for Champions League football next season pretty much in the dumpster. If we only took zero points from Crystal Palace away and Brighton at home, just imagine the ensuing disaster when we have to play Spurs, Chelsea and United. Just end the season at this point and let me enjoy my summer.

My analysis of this first half can be summed up in 3 words: Arsenal are shit. With that being said, the absolute audacity from the Premier League to rule the Martinelli goal as offside is one of the bigger screwjobs I’ve seen in a while. Right before halftime and down 1-0, Arsenal found themselves tied from Martinelli pouncing on a loose ball in the air, HOWEVER, VAR also reverted back to being shit and overturned the referee’s original decision and took away the goal because of this decision:

Absolutely no angle seems definitive, but regardless, credit to VAR and the Premier League for doing everything they can to screw Arsenal. Which left us down a goal heading into the break.

Arsenal then proceeded to do more of nothing in the second half before stellar play down the left flank for Brighton let Mwepu put Brighton up 2-0 to Arsenal and out our Top 4 hopes on life alert. Odegaard got one back for us, but it was too little too late.

We play Southampton next week who got shelled against Chelsea today 6-0 which pretty much means we are going to get whacked as well cause that is how life works.
