On the back of me explaining all the times, I would have sacked Arteta in his tenure, in typical Kent Fashion, the club has gone and extended the man for 3 more seasons (end of 2024/2025). *cue the Curb theme song.
What a joke of a club we are. There is absolutely no need to wait this far into the current season to sign the man up before our place in next year’s Champion’s League is undecided in the current season. If we make the Champions League next season, 100% Arteta should be extended, no question. But no way it needed to be done right now before the North London Derby. What if we get Europa League? The owners have 100% been blinded by Arteta’s impeccable hairline that they failed to see Arteta hasn’t done anything of substance yet for the club to get us back and competing with the top clubs in Europe. Arteta has done well this season, can’t argue against that. Such a joke man. Whatever, we get Top 4, he shuts me up and fully deserves his extension.

The pressure is on everybody involved with the club to see this out to get us back to where we need to be. I’ll believe it when I see it.
