ARTETA OUT. Get this fraud and Edu out of my club. Easy scissors to the throat stuff from Arsenal Football Club. Just absolute kill yourself stuff from the boys today. Arsenal has dropped another game 1-0 to Southampton at Saint Mary’s and now our season is over again if it wasn’t over last week. We were granted a lifeline today with Spurs losing their match with Brighton earlier today which meant a win would have put us back in the driver’s seat for today’s match a win. And in typical Arsenal fashion, we choke our guts out. Now after’s today match here is where the standings have us in the chase for Top 4:
Down to 6th with a game in hand after this loss, but doesn’t really matter cause we are making this game up against Chelsea on Wednesday and we all know how that will end.

When you are at your lowest, just look to where Arsenal is on your schedule to get you right back to the top. Crystal Palace hadn’t won a home game in all of 2022 before trouncing as 3-0 at Selhurst Park. Brighton were in TERRIBLE form, winning no games in their last 7 before beating us at home. Southampton had lost four in a row at home, including a 6-0 loss to Chelsea just last week before beating us and getting their season back on track. You just gotta laugh at this point:
Keep in mind, all of these games Arsenal had with Palace, Brighton, and Soton had huge implications on us getting into that Champions League spot and Arsenal fucked around and went on to lose all 3, impressive really.
SUMMARY: Arteta used his common sense and put a natural left-back at his natural position and moved our most experienced center midfield into center mid. Mind-blowing stuff from the boss. With Laca out due to illness, Eddie got the start up front with Saka and Martinelli.
Mikel went with a more conventional starting XI and it showed to be promising compared to our starts against Palace and Brighton. Martinelli and Saka seemed to have some success with their full-backs going forward with a sure-fire goal set up for Saka and then this happens:
Southampton then score on a broken play with poor defending from every player, you can only laugh at this point:
After that goal, Arsenal went on to compile a 76% of the possession, with triple the completed passes and triple the XG (expected goals) but means fuck all when it’s when side to side passing with no incisive play. The lack of quality and ability to finish and create goals in this team is lacking in form at the moment for sure but there is still no excuse for this type of performance to expand to 3 games against mid-lower table teams.
I can go on and on about how our players aren’t good enough. how the manager isn’t good enough, about how our tactics are easy to defend, but it is useless when I am going to have to type the same bullshit Wednesday when we travel to play Chelsea.
Just end me and this season at this point.
